Opened in Sep. 2001 the hotel occupied one floor of a 1924 building on a busy street. Australian songbirds welcome you to the lobby, and serene blue hallways lead to high ceiling rooms with painted armoires and color-coordinated with the sheets. Everything in the sunny place is nicely up-to-date; firm mattresses, air conditioning in every room, well-conceived bathrooms.
